Why Crockfords
People play bridge at Crockfords for all sorts of reasons, but a few common themes regularly appear:
They enjoy the chance to socialise and meet new people in a friendly and supportive atmosphere.
They like to challenge themselves to improve their bridge skills and compete against others doing the same.
They appreciate the comfort and convenience of the club rooms with their central location and secure off-street parking.
History of Crockfords
There is a long and interesting history associated with Crockfords dating back to 1934 when a small group of card players decided to form a bridge club, adopting the name from the club in London. The full history of the Crockfords Bridge Club may be viewed here: Crockfords History.
2024 is our 90th anniversary. We will be celebrating in true Crockfords style. Information will be made available in due course.
